My own little Online Shop
During my studies in communication design at Mainz University and the Corona lockdown in 2020, I founded my own online shop Hannahs Firlefanz. Since then, I have been designing my own stationery products, which can also be purchased in various stores throughout Germany. How I work
I enjoy trying different materials, but I truly love creating watercolor illustrations. The unpredictable textures in watercolor add movement and emotion to my artwork.
My passion
After successfully completing my bachelor's degree in 2023, I now work as a self-employed illustrator. My particular passion is children's book illustration. I want to tell stories in which appreciation and acceptance come first and children can find their own way.
My first published book
My first book will be published in 2023. It's called "Wat kicks du kruus? Verstehs mi nich?”
It's a Low German picture dictionary for everyone. The book aims to make the language more visible and tries to create a connection between the generations.
My workspace
I live and work in the Münsterland. A rural region in northern North Rhine-Westphalia near the Dutch border.
